Zenith
Zenith is by Lupicor ( Lux z x Pilot) out of the Ster mare Jorina (Nimmerdor)
who jumped internationally as did her mother Worina (Keur/Pref) and her
mother Norina (keur). The Dam Jorina has produced several horses all competing
at 1.30 plus.
Technique, scope and power
Zenith combines great technique, with scope, power and care – he remains
bold and brave yet rarely hits a fence. He has a laid back temperament with
tremendous ride ability and shows the qualities and behaviours of a horse
twice his age. The horse has real presence and is a beautiful horse to look
at and has been described as a carbon copy of his sire Lupicor.
Career
As a 4yr old Zenith had all his double clears BN/Disc and Newcomers in a
very short space of time. He had a long break and started 2009 as a 5yr
old in May qualifying for the Foxhunter at the Royal Highland. He then gained
all his newcomer and foxhunter double clears for 2010. The stallion then
went to the British Young Horse Champs at Addington in August where he came
2nd in the 5yr old final beating some of the best 5yr olds in the UK and
jumping fences sitting at 1.35 in the final jump off. A month later Zenith
went to Arena UK where he jumped numerous double clears in the Newcomer
and 5yr old classes – coming 4th in the Newcomer final which had a start
list of over 200. His winnings are now in excess of £1300 and has jumped
30 double clears in 9 months of jumping. Zenith is on a long break before
he starts 2010 as a 6 yr old.
Lupicor
Lupicor (Lux Z x Pilot x Cor de la Bryere) was born in 1995 and was bred
by the Schroembges family in Wellerlooi (Limburg). The brown stallion, bred
out of the famous Pilot daughter Jourdette S was approved at age 2 for the
Westfalen studbook. He stood at stud with the German stallion producer Heinrich
Dowe until his return to the Wiemselbach in 2001. The talented son of Lux
Z then competed successfully in national classes as well as in the Dutch
stallion competitions under the saddle of Rogier Linssen. Because of his
great performances he was then approved by the KWPN. After his international
jumping career with riders Ben Schröder and Marco Kutscher, Lupicor became
a world class breeding stallion. His first offspring in Westfalen was very
promising and soon after that Lupicor was able to make his mark in the Dutch
breeding industry by producing many champions in foal and mare inspections
and the stallion approvals. Lupicor belongs to the best 1% of all German
stallions and has a very high breeding index in Holland.
Lux Z
Lupicor’s sire Lux Z was one of the most successful stallions in international
showjumping. With Jerry Smit, Lux Z participated in the 2000 Sydney Olympics
and he won the Pulsar Crown competitions in Valkenswaard and Cannes. This
brought Lux Z's total winnings to more than a million euro. His sire, Lord
Calando (Lord), is just like the world-famous jumping stallion Carthago
Z (Capitol I), bred out of Perra (Calando I).
