Silverstone is a son of Champion du Lys, who won many Grand Prix with Ludger
Beerbaum and also won the Derby of Hamburg twice. Furthermore, we find the
two time Olympic showjumping stallion Carthago, who sires strongly in the
jumping direction, then the Ramiro x Gotthard son, Renomee, who also sired
many international showjumpers. The thoroughbreds Thuswin xx and Anblick
xx provide the necessary blood and stamina.
Silverstone's dam Marthago is a fantastic Holsteiner brood mare. She was awarded the ‘Keur’ predicate from the KWPN studbook and she received three 8’s and a 9 for jumping in her mare test. She is also the dam of the Zangersheide approved stallion Chuck Z. Grand dam Aline is the dam of the stallion Laralle and the international showjumper Corniola. From this family also descends the approved Holsteiner stallion Corrido. Silverstone received the highest points, during the KWPN Stallion Test, ever for jumping in years: Take off 9 - technique 8.5 - scope 9.5 and talent for jumping 9. He finished in 1st place for jumping and a 3rd place in the total classification.
With Dennis van Tilburg Silverstone was amazing in the stallion competitions. They won 3 out of the 4 qualification rounds in the stallion competition 2006/2007. In the Stallion competition of 2005/2006 he was placed 2nd. Silverstone’s offspring sure know how to jump! The mares Bigeunerin and B. Ocinthe were placed 2nd and 3rd at the Dutch Free Jumping Championship 2009. In other years his daughters Amina, Zolivia and Zoxalis were placed high in this Championship. Bigeunerin and B. Ocinthe also received high points for their IBOP; Bigeunerin received 84.5 points and B. Ocinthe 83.5 points. His son Winston was Dutch Champion of the 4 year old jumpers. His daughters Ziewica van de Hermitage and Zanzare became Provincial Champions. Bridgestone RV was Champion of the Young Foal Show in Tolbert.
Bugatti got his approval for the KWPN and placed 6th in the Champions ring of the KWPN Stallion Selections.
Silverstone's oldest offspring is 7 years old and already competing and winning in international classes. His son Waterstone II won with Robert Whitaker the 7/8 year old Championship at Horse of the Year Show 2010 The 5 year old Appelflap with Clarissa Crotta (SUI) jumped successful in the finals of the World Championships for Young Horses at Lanaken 2010.
Silverstone is currently jumping BSJA with Philippa McKeever.
