His paternal line consists of three top sires for jumper breeding who have produced horses such as Midnight Madness, Laramy, and Ratina Z. His maternal line also guarantees performance; his mother and grandmother competed at 1.30 m. His grandmother sired six foals who jumped at Z level or higher, such as Dino who jumped at the Olympic Games in Barcelona.

Marlon has a beautiful exterior and 3 good gaits. At the age of 3, he was reserve-champion of the Stallion Selection in 's Hertogenbosch. In the Stallion Competition, Marlon was placed high many times: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. He has a lot of power and a good technique, and in his tests, he received an 8 for jumping and was placed 3rd. He is currently jumping at the Z level. Marlon's first production of 3 year olds is very promising. They impress by their beautiful type, good movements and ability to jump high. Two of them were immediately selected for the second and third inspection and both of these have been approved for the Ermelo Stallion Test.

Marlon is very attractive for the breeding market due to his unique bloodlines.

Many of his progeny are winners in the jumping ring all over the world. Horses like Ramon who won the 5-6yr old division at the Whittaker Championship in Ireland, Sylvano who became Champion of the 5-6yr old in Helsinki and Terrific who won the class for 6yr old show jumpers at the West Canadian Championships and also won the 1.30m class at Spruce Meadows. Marlon himself was at the age of three Reserve Champion of the KWPN Stallion Show and Highly placed in the Stallion Competitions, 1st and 2nd.
