be carried out by our veterinarian Aleksandra Jagusiak (MRCVS) .
All expenses incurred for visits, examinations and medicines
will be payable by the mare owner directly to Scotland AI
Service at the end of each month.
In
foal Fee
£70 for all mares leaving the stud scanned in foal to fresh,
chilled or frozen semen. This fee includes insemination costs
and all the handling associated with the veterinary work.
If a mare leaves before scanned it will be assumed that she
is in foal and the fee is payable along with the keep fees
before she leaves the stud. If subsequently she is found to
be not in foal before October 1st and a vet's certificate
confirms this, the £70 will be returned.

all mares, such as farriery work, worming, chilled semen collection
from Edinburgh Airport, etc. are available on request.
Mares
and foals whilst on the AI centre receive every possible care,
attention and supervision. Veterinary assistance is called
in when deemed necessary and is chargeable to the owner. All
mares are served at their owner's risk and no responsibility
can be accepted for injury, damage or loss caused through
trying to or serving any mare.
All
in foal mares need to have a 28/30-day PD scan to confirm
a single viable and healthy pregnancy; if mares leave before
then it is the owners responsibility to arrange for this to
be carried out.
All
fees must be paid before the mares leaves the AI centre.
Mare
owners who send a third party to collect their mare must make
arrangements to pay in advance of collection.

2.
Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA): We are encouraging all
mare owners to have their mares EVA tested in 2007 before they
arrive. We recognise that some may not be tested and we are
not making it compulsory this season; we will be asking all
mare owners to declare if their mares have been tested. |
| 3. Arrival
Time: The best time for mares to arrive is just before they
are due to come in season and they will then be constantly monitored
to obtain the optimum timing for insemination. |

to fill in and sign our form when they bring the horse to stud.
If the horse is sent with a third party the form must be completed

costs incurred must be paid before the horse leaves the stud.
Interim invoicing may be done at the stud's absolute discretion

a third party to collect the horse must make arrangements
to pay in advance of collection. Horses will not be allowed
to leave before payment is made in full.
|
|

Hind Shoes: Please make sure all mares arrive at stud
without hind shoes.
