Calvaro Junior began his career in Holland under Jur Vrieling and placed
at CSI** level. He now splits his time between breeding, and competing in
1.40m national & international classes, where he is showing excellent technique
& consistency.
Sire CALVARO Z (Caletto I/ Capitol I) had a spectacular career with
both Jos Lansink & John Whitaker - his successes include National Dutch
Champion, Team Silver at the European Championships, winner of the 1999
& 2000 GB Grand Prix as well as representing Great Britain at the 2000 Olympics.
Calvaro has a worldwide reputation as a sire of exceptional jumpers with
great movement & good temperament.
Dam, NINJA BW (Corofino I/ Calypso I) is a KWPN Elite mare line bred to
Cor de la Bryere, who appears twice in her 3rd generation. Her sire Corofino
(Corrado I/ Fernando I) is one of the rare Holstein stallions to have received
a maximum score of 10 for jump on his 100 day test. He had a brilliant International
career & is the sire of multiple International GP winners - one of his most
famous sons being Russel
G Dam ORGESH (Calypso I/ Sherry Netherland xx) is also grandam of the multiple
approved KWPN “Preferent” stallion Indoctro
who ranked number 1 in the Swedish jumping sire rankings with an index of
164.
