Bugatti VDL is a young stallion from the famous Azemieka family.
Silverstone is the first approved son of Champion du Lys, who won many
Grand Prix with Ludger Beerbaum and also the Derby of Hamburg. His sire,
Laeken, also jumped internationally and is, just like Le Mexico, a son of
the Furioso xx son Mexico. Furthermore, we find the twice-Olympic stallion
Carthago, who also sires strongly in the jumping direction. Then the Ramiro
x Gotthard son, Renomee, also sired more international jumping horses. The
thoroughbreds Thuswin xx and Anblick xx provide the necessary blood.
After a successful jumping career, Indoctro (his dam's sire), Champion of
the stallion test, has been used completely for breeding. And with success:
at the age of 16 he received the title: ‘Preferent’. In the USA Indoctro
was honored as the USEF jump sire of the year. In Germany, Indoctro is 3rd
on the German list of jump sires and he is the nr. 2 of the Holstein Studbook.
Dam's dam Azemieka is Preferent Prestatie and is one of the best broodmares
in Holland, with offspring as the international jumping horses Everest,
Glenridge, Jezetro, Lely and Arkansas. She is also dam to Helena who is
dam to the Grand Prix horse VDL Southwind and Independence.
