Ben Nevis is an interesting bred son of Concreto.

Concreto was premium stallion of the Holstein license show in 2000. Now, Concreto is placed in international 1.50m jumping classes and he is on the second place in the breeding index of Schleswig Holstein. Concreto's pedigree is an ideal combination of the best bloodlines. His sire Contender has over 60 licensed sons and his offspring won over 1 Million Euro. By that he is one of the most successful stallions in Europe.

His dam Hafolia is out of mare line 173. She is a daughter of Calando I, her dam Defolia is sister of the famous stallion Capitol.

The damline from Ben Nevis is probably the best you can find in France. Kouglof II and Uriel both belong to the best of French breeding and have sired many approved sons and international sport horses. The dam from Duchesse is Gueule d'Amour who also produced Pavlova des Malais, the mother of Flipper d'Elle, a Selle Français stallion who very successfully jumped at international Grand Prix level. He was a permanent fixture in the French Nations cup team with his rider Laurent Goffinet. In 2006 he won ten different International titles, including the Grand Prix of St Lô, the CSIO ***** of Gijon, the four star Grand Prix of Deauville and the four star Grand Prix of Bremen (Germany), he was also selected for the WEG in Aachen.

Ben Nevis has a full sister, Zevida, who took the Sport Horse Championship at the Royal Highland Show in 2007. She now competes successfully in Brittish Eventing with Samantha Abbott.

As a three year old Ben Nevis won the Scottish National loose jumping Championship and will now start his ridden career as a show jumper.

His first crop of foals are modern, well developed and long lined. They move with a lot of self-carriage, scope and expression. In 2009 his daughter Ettrick Lilly was the highest graded filly foal at the KWPN mare and foal grading in Scotland. In 2010 his son FBI did the same in the colt foal section.

Ben Nevis: Proven bloodlines for type and sport.
