The imposing bay stallion VDL Bacardi is a son of the stallion selection
and international jumping stallion Corland. His offspring are performing
at the highest international level, as Marlon, Seacoast Silvana and many
others.
At the European Championship of 2001, Sire Corland proved to belong in the
category of the best in the world. He won both qualifiers and had the best
results of the Nation’s competition and had the fastest clear round in the
qualifying speed class. In the finals, he finished in 9th place. Corland
jumped convincingly over the heavy courses and showed what he is capable
of.
Sire of his dam, the stallion Kannan, was riden by M. Heckart and was National
Champion of France. In this line we also see the legendary stallion Jasper
and the Grand Prix jumping sire Fresco. Four Grand Prix jumping stallions
in the pedigree in a row!
Dam Supardi was rewarded a nine during her mare test, granddam Gupardie
is dam of two national jumpers and many other great jumping horses.
Bacardi is a well-developed VDL stallion with a great gallop. He has very
good reflexes, great jump and a lot of scope and very much power.
