Azteca VDL (=Illinois VDL) is probably the most discussed young stallion of the Netherlands. The sireline contains all the topstallions of the modern breeding. They are all stallions which have proved themselves in the breeding and sport.
But also the damline is one of the best in Europe. Mother is the 'keur' mare Siancara, she had the highest EPTM-test score of her year, 84 points. with at least a 8 for the different subjects.
Grandmother is the 'keur' mare Liancara, she had 81 points for her EPTM-test with a 8 for all subjects and a 9 for gallop. Great grandmother is the 'keur, preferent and prestatie' mare Zancara, she is the mother of the stallion Great Pleasure and the approved, Grand Prix jumping stallions Montreal and Pessoa. The mother of Zancara is the 'keur, preferent and prestatie' mare Shoraya who is on the base of this succesfull line. She brought many champions and top breedingmares as Wildroos, Colette and Dehlia. But also the 3 international sporthorses Bolvorms Dehlia, Oraya VDL and Optiebeurs Aldato.
Better bred is not possible.
